Status: Full-time, non-exempt (32-40 hours, weekly; hours are based on location)

Schedule: Specific hours are based on location; all work will be performed during business hours (Monday – Friday, 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.)

Pay : $22.00 - $23.00/hour

Job Summary

\n

The Program Manager actively develops and sustains relationships that grow the presence of the facility in the community by leading and cultivating partnerships with community organizations and regional school systems to advance programs at the Club site. Ensures that all foundational programming requirements are met, including all required curriculum-based programs and tracks and reports all grant requirements. Evaluates and recommends enhancements to programs based on the needs, interests, and characteristics of the youth to ensure an outcome-driven Club experience.

Primary Responsibilities

\n

Operational Leadership & Program Quality

\n

\n
• Assist the Club Director with driving the key performance indicators of Average Daily Attendance (ADA), Registered Members (RM), Active Members (AM) and Frequent Attenders (FA) for the Club in alignment with overall pursuit of Operational Excellence.
\n
• Administer the annual Key Performance Data (KPD) assessment in collaboration with the Impact Department to ensure Club members consistently have great experiences at Club.
\n
• Champion the execution of quality programming throughout the Club which includes aligning programming offerings with grant requirements and expectations.
\n
• Collaborate with the Impact Department to identify Program Partners and experiential opportunities across the Denver Metro that will enrich the experiences of Club members.
\n

Youth Development & Member Engagement

\n

\n
• Support the Club Director’s vision of establishing a youth-centered, safe, inclusive and engaging Club Culture that promotes positive Club member behaviors while also supporting a Club Culture that is welcoming of Club families and other external BGCMD stakeholders.
\n
• Partner with the Healthy Lifestyles Team and the Mental Health Team to provide comprehensive programing and support for Club members.
\n
• Implement constructive youth development and trauma-informed practices throughout the Club to foster positive emotional, social, and enrichment experience for Club members.
\n
• Build strong relationships with Club members, providing mentorship and guidance.
\n
• Ensure a diverse range of programmatic, athletics, enrichment, and leadership activities to meet the needs and interests of members.
\n

\n

Team Leadership & Professional Development

\n

\n
• Support a team of 2-6 Youth Development Specialist and/or Youth Engagement Specialists.
\n
• Mentor, train and develop Youth Development Specialists and/or Youth Development Professionals to implement engaging and enriching programming.
\n
• Ensure that resources such as lesson plans and program supplies are approved and available for Youth Development/Youth Enrichment Specialist utilization.
\n
• Lead the onboarding efforts of the Club to ensure incoming teammates understand their job duties and have the necessary resources to execute their job functions.
\n
• Contribute to a culture of teamwork, belonginess and productivity amongst Club staff.
\n
• Participate in January, May, and August training weeks and engage in any district/school-led professional development opportunities if applicable.
\n

\n

Community & Family Engagement

\n

\n
• Lead community outreach efforts with key external stakeholders to strengthen partnerships with schools, local organizations, and community organizations.
\n
• Execute signature events
\n

\n

\n

Club Safety

\n

\n
• Assist with the Club staff to Club member ratio during Club hours
\n
• Support the facility maintenance of the Club (or partner with School/District Leadership) to ensure that the Club is safe, accessible and ready for programming.
\n
• Transport Club members to field trips, athletics activities and other special events in accordance with safety standards.
\n

\n

\n

Secondary Duties

\n

\n
• Lead as site manager in the absence of the Club Director.
\n
• Host routine Family Orientations to foster strong relationships between Club families and the Club.
\n
• Demonstrate flexibility by substituting at other Clubs or participating in organization-wide events across the Denver Metro area.
\n

\n

\n

Minimum Qualifications

\n

\n
• Administration (at least 1 year of administration experience). You have experience at a school, or other similar environment in an administrative support role.
\n
• Basic Microsoft Office and database management skills to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the membership and attendance records, in addition to other types of custom reports using the database and other records.
\n
• Creative ways to engage with the youth and community. You work closely with volunteers, parents and the community to ensure the Club is an enriching, fun and safe environment.
\n
• Thinking on your feet. You like learning new things, and you can learn quickly. When things change - and they will - you go with the flow and are productive.
\n
• Creating positive and supportive relationships with youth.
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

\n
• You are a Spanish speaker.
\n
• You have previous experience working with youth.
\n

\n

\n

Conditions of Employment

\n

\n
• The position requires passing criminal and driving records investigations, and reference checks.
\n
• The position must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to be insured under the company's insurance policy.
\n
• The position will primarily work indoors. Accordingly, the ability to use a variety of equipment including janitorial and office equipment is required.
\n
• Some job duties require the ability to stand for extended periods, kneel, reach, bend, and lift objects weighing in excess of 25 lbs. Outdoor work and moderate physically demanding activities may be required on occasion.
\n
• Strong English proficiency is required for this position to ensure effective communication with staff, club members, and families, as well as to follow safety and procedural guidelines accurately.
\n
• CPR, First Aid, medication administration, or other certifications required within established timeframe.
\n

In-Office and Remote Work

\n

This position works primarily at an assigned club location but may occasionally work from other facilities as necessary.

\n
