Northplace Apartment Homes is seeking an energetic and professional Leasing Agent to join our growing team in Salem, Oregon.

As the first point of contact for prospective residents, you will play a critical role in creating exceptional first impressions and helping future residents find their next home. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys talking with people, building relationships, answering phones, conducting tours, and helping drive leasing success.

We are looking for someone who brings positive energy, professionalism, and the motivation to help lease apartments in a fast-paced lease-up environment.

What You'll Do

• Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and online inquiries professionally and promptly
• Create a welcoming and positive first impression for all prospective residents
• Conduct community and apartment tours
• Build relationships with prospects and identify their housing needs
• Follow up consistently with prospective residents to convert leads into leases
• Guide applicants through the leasing, move-in, and renewal process
• Help achieve occupancy and leasing goals

• Process rental applications and maintain resident files
• Track leads and leasing activity using company software
• Assist with marketing and outreach efforts
• Maintain a professional leasing office and tour environment
• Support resident relations and customer service initiatives

What We're Looking For

• 1+ year of leasing, sales, customer service, hospitality, retail, banking, or similar experience preferred
• Professional and confident telephone presence
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service mindset
• Comfortable speaking with prospective residents throughout the day
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Positive attitude and strong sense of urgency
• Driver's license and auto insurance required
• Spanish-speaking preferred but not required
