CORPORATE PARALEGAL | FAST-GROWING REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT PLATFORM | NYC

We’re working with a leading, privately held real estate investment and finance platform that is looking to add a Corporate Paralegal to its legal team.

This is a great opportunity for a paralegal who wants to move beyond a traditional support role and have real ownership over entity management, legal operations and transactional matters within a high-volume, entrepreneurial environment.

$90K–$120K Base + Bonus

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage the company's entity portfolio , including formations, qualifications, amendments, conversions and dissolutions across multiple jurisdictions

• Maintain organizational charts, LLC/LP agreements, governance records, resolutions, consents and ownership records

• Own the legal department's matter tracker, legal calendar and document management system

• Coordinate signatures, notarizations, execution packages and closing documentation

• Prepare and maintain closing checklists and diligence trackers , working closely with internal teams, outside counsel, title companies and counterparties

• Support real estate financings, acquisitions, dispositions and joint ventures

• Assist with UCC filings, lien/judgment searches, title review and other transactional diligence

• Maintain post-closing files and ensure all required filings, recordings and original documents are completed and organized

• Manage aspects of the outside counsel relationship , including engagement letters, invoices, billing and administrative coordination

• Maintain the contract repository , track renewals and key dates, and support general corporate matters

• Assist with litigation, regulatory inquiries, audits and document production as needed

• Help identify opportunities to improve processes, templates, tracking systems and legal workflows as the business continues to scale

Who they're looking for:

• 1–5 years of paralegal experience , ideally from Big Law or an in-house legal team

• Experience with entity management and document management

• Exposure to transactional real estate, finance or corporate matters is a strong plus

• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail

• Able to manage multiple priorities and a high volume of matters in a fast-paced environment

• Proactive, resourceful and comfortable taking ownership

• Strong communicator who knows how to follow up, drive matters forward and keep stakeholders informed

• Someone with a genuine “no job too big or too small” mentality
