A Better Solution in Home Care is urgently seeking Caregivers to provide personalized assistance to individuals with disabilities and special needs. Our Caregivers help people maintain their health, safety, dignity, independence, and involvement in the community.
This position can be an excellent starting point for someone interested in growing within the caregiving field. Successful employees may pursue advancement opportunities as Lead Caregivers or Quality Care Coordinators.
Responsibilities May Include
Bathing, dressing, grooming, and incontinence care
Mobility assistance
Transportation
Meal preparation
Light housekeeping and laundry
Companionship and advocacy
Medication reminders
Assistance with errands and community activities
Support with individualized daily routines
Who Receives Support?
Our Caregivers serve individuals of varying ages, abilities, and levels of independence. Some individuals may have physical disabilities, medical conditions, cognitive differences, communication challenges, learning limitations, or behavioral support needs.
Work Settings
Services may be delivered in private homes, community locations, assisted living facilities, group homes, or day programs.
What You Should Know
Caregiving requires dedication and patience. The work can be emotionally challenging, and some assignments require significant physical activity. Caregivers may also need to respond appropriately to complex care requirements or behaviors.
